BAN ON TEXTBOOKS

ROME, October 5.
The first official result of the Italian Census, subject to verification, shows the number "of Jews in Italy at 70.000.
The Ministry of Education has banned textbooks the authors of which are Jews, and gives lists of names, including professors, whose books are at present used in the universities.
