SANTIAGO (Chile), October 5.

As a result of the uprising on September 5," Deputy Jorge yon Maree, the leader of 300,000 Chilean Nazis, was sentenced to death and General Carlos Ibanez, a Presidential candidate, was exiled for ten years. Other prominent persons were exiled for life oi* imprisoned for ten years. At Rio de Janeiro 119 persons who participated in tlie Fascist revolt on May 11 were given sentences of up to eight years' imprisonment.
