SLOVAK FREE CORPS
FORMATION IN AUSTRIA
NAZI ENCOURAGEMENT
LONDON, October 8.
The correspondent of "The Times" at Vienna says it is becoming increasingly apparent that Germany is encouraging the formation of a Slovak Free Corps in Austria similar to Herr Henlein's Sudeten German Free Corps. The leaders declare that the Slovaks must be granted a plebiscite on the question of whether they are to remain with the Czechs on a basis of equality or create an independent State. The leaders favour an independent State with close economic co-operation with Germany.
