MAN ON PREMISES BY NIGHT

In the Magistrate's Court, Herbert James Ross, aged 39, single, with no fixed abode, was sentenced to six months' hard labour on a charge of being found by night in the premises of Guinness and Kitchingham, solici-! tors. He was convicted and discharged for being in possession of gelignite, detonators, and a fuse. Detective-Sergeant Knight said that the accused was found attempting to hide" in the office last night by an employee who had returned to work. The accused had a list of thirteen previous convictions, including breaking, entering, and theft. ' !
