RUGBY LEAGUE

SYDNEY TEAM'S VISIT

The Eastern Suburbs Rugby League team from Sydney, which on Saturday completed an itinerary of three matches in Auckland, will be arriving in Wellington tomorrow by the first express from Auckland on its way back to Sydney. The team will be leaving by the Awatea later the same day. It will be met at the railway station by Mr. W. T. Holland, chairman, and other members of the Wellington Rugby League Board of Control, and during the day the visitors will be taken for a drive around the city and to places of interest.

Wellington club teams in matches with teams from outside clubs have enjoyed an unbroken record of success this season, none having been defeated. The most recent game was played on Saturday, when at Christchurch the Miramar reserve grade team beat a combined Christchurch junior team by 9 points to 5.
