(United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.)

(Received October 4, 12.30 p.m.)

SYrNEY, This Day.

His real gameness was shown when he responded to Bartle's call and sprinted after passing Buzalong to make doubly sure of his win."

The "Herald" adds that Royal Chief's win in the Colin Stephen Stakes on Saturday and his effort yesterday were comparable with the performances of any of the champions of recent years. Even with Ajax as an opponent in the next season or two his future in Australia would be bright..
