SAILING ON TUESDAY
Mrs. Moye, who will leave with ncr daughters by the 'Awatea next Tuesday, has been tendered many. functions of farewell. A very enjoyable afternoon was held at the residence of Mrs. N. G. De Cent, Majoribanks Street. Among the guests were Mesdames S. Williams, E. Williams,-Grant, Walshaw, Young,' Meech, McDermott, De Cent, and the Misses Connelly and Grant. The Alicetown Singing Circle held a social evening and -presented Mrs. Moye with a beautiful greenstone pendant and wished her bon voyage. Miss Maddever, Lindum Terrace, gave another delightful afternoon tea party at her home. Among the guests were Mesdames Hill, Brown, Oakley, Snelgrove, Thompson," Gibson, Young, and the Misses Christie and Maddever; Miss Christie presented. Mr». Moye with a beautiful bouquet and expressed many good wishes for the future.
