LONDON, June 9.
Sales of gold on the bullion market today were the lowest since the recent urihoarairig began, the statement of the Chancellor of the1 Exchequer (Sir John Simon) yesterday has apparently reassured foreign operators, and it is generally agreed that the immediate uncertainties' regarding gold have been dispelled,
in the House of Commons on Tuesday Sir John Simon gave an assurance that no change was contemplated in Britain's monetary policy.-
