AUCKLAND; This Day.
Probably the youngest baby;ever to make a flight in an aeroplane .in New Zealand is the fe/e-we'eks-old daughter of Mrs. K. Newbui'gh, who last Saturday flew from- Christchurch to Te Kuiti. The "baby slept all the:way.
With Mr. E. Clark as pilot,; Mrs. Newburgh and the baby left Christchurch' on Saturday on their way to Auckland. Darkness fell rapidly and a landing was made at Te Kuiti. The journey was continued by car. -Mother": arid baby will leave on the return flight to.Christchurch tomorrow. : ■ :'
