NEW PLYMOUTH, This Day.
The Acting Prime Minister (the Hon. P. Fraser) opened the New Plymouth Winter Show las}; night. - He .will conclude his visit to Taranaki today, .when his only engagement .is the opening of the Welbourn School, and will leave for Wellington by car.
The Minister has under consideration the Taranaki Education Board's request for the establishment ctf; an intermediate school, and may-.'inspect possible sites. . - - -■■■■ ■ -:
