'• Ariother Son-in-Law horse has been purchased for the Dominion, Mr. A. F. Symes having secured Junior Consul, who will thus join several other weiibred sires in the Hawke's Bay district. Mr. Symes was in the running for his son-in-law (Mr. W. R. Stead) when Beau Pere, another Son-in-Law horse, was sold at Mr. J. Donald's dispersal :sale last January. The Tetratema horse Theiohas also been bought for a'Hawke's Bay stud, Mr. F. Donnelly having made the purchase.
