Much amusement was caused by the novelty dances. The Monte Carlo competition was won by Miss A. Knox and Mr. Marr, and the "Mystery Train dance by Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Taylor. The committee comprised Mesdames G. L. Taylor," R. S. Wogan, T. Teward, and' D. Scott, and Messrs. G. L. Taylor (secretary), K. Sando, T. Teward, and K. Haswell.
