The bogey competition played on Saturday aiternoon at Titahi was won by H. !>. Smith 114). who returned a card of 1 down. Other cards returned were W. H. Crawford 124), 3 down, and J. C. Bradley 4 down. A medal round played on Sunday morning resulted in a win for 1. Johnston, 76, 10—66. N. W. Parker, 71, 3—68, and O. Mulder, 75, 7—6b, were the runners-up. Other cards returned were:—W. M. Crawford, 94, 24 —70; E. Watts, 95, 24—71; K. Crichton, 87, 16—71; L. Spiiler, 90, 18—72; L. H. Trent, 79, 6—73; T. H. R. Boon, ,70, A foursome stroke round played in conjunction with the qualifying round for the Hutchinson Cup resulted in a tie between H. D. Gyles and W. Marchant, 78, 6—72, D. N. Anderson and Collins 91, 19—72, and T. Johnston and W. Bridgford, 87, 15—72. Gyles and Marchant won on the count back. Other leading scores were:— i. W. Crombie and I. Gault, 89, 16-73; K. Crichton and H. Pearce, 89 16-73. N. W. Parker played excellent goll to return a card of 71.
