In the play-off for the April fourbogey competition at Shandon W. K. Stuckey and B. Hipkins defeated D. M. Boyd and W. Richards, 2 up. The June bogey was won by J. J. Strachan C 9), 1 up. I. E. Bennett (18) was 2 down. ' The Stableford bogey was won by M. C. Smith (11) with 33 points. E. J. Kretschmar (3) was 32 points. In a bogey E. J.-Kretschmar (3) and W. Ryan (9) tied, all square. The ' fourball bogey resulted:—J. Logan (2.) and H. R. Brien (11), 5 up. The results of the first round of the Andrew trophy are as follows:— Hodgkins beat Murie, 1 up; Dennis beat MeKelvie by default; Warden beat Low ai the 19th; McCormick beat Brown, 1 up; Press beat Allison, 1 up; Evans beat Edey, 1 up; Schumacher beat Hipkins, 3 and 2; Kretschmar beat Hansen, 7 and 5; Burke beat Lulham, '3 and 2; Glendow beat Lynskey, 2 and 1; Smith beat Wilson, 2 and 1; Gallagher beat Moss at the 19th; Brien beat Hayward by default; Park beat Tustin by default; Barton beat Murray, 7 and 5; Griffin beat Gopdworth, 3 and 2. ■ . In the "top dog" competition Isaacs and Hortbn beat McCormick and Low. On Wednesday next the following events, open to visitors, will be played: —Morning,. 18-hole bogey; afternoon, fourball best-ball bogey.. .
