The political writer of the Australian Associated Press Agency understands, that the Imperial Conference Air Com-, munications Committee hopes to; reach agreement on June.7 in conned-' tion with the establishment of transTasman and^trans-Pacific Empire airj services in readiness to: submit it ia-: the heads of the delegations for adop-' tion.
Only a few details remain to be settled, including the management of the trans-Tasman service and also finality. regarding Honolulu as a base for the trans-Pacific route. The discussions have been based on the Wellington conference resolutions. The subject of trans-Tasman and trans-Pacific shipping will be the last and as progress is being made there is now every . hope that a satisfactory agreement will be reached before tha conclusion of the conference. .
