PLIMMERTON PLAYERS

The Plimmerton Players' third reading of the season, which was held recently, was given to a capacity house, and the society is gratified to realise that its productions are meeting with such a degree of popular approval and support. Two one-act plays were read. .The first, "Trifles," a drama by Susan GJaspell, was produced by Mr. Lagdon, and those taking part were Misses G. Dallaston and J. Mildenhall and Messrs. F. Ross, J. Watt, and Griffiths. The other play was a burlesque by F. Sladen-Smilb, "The Poison Party." This also was produced by Mr. Lagdon, and the parts were taken by Mrs. Hill, Miss J. Firth, Messrs. J. W. T. Wiggs and C. and D. Dallaston. After the readings community Singing was indulged in and the audience enjoyed a supper served by the committee.^.
