Taking quality into account, wool values were slightly higher than .at the last sale. Competition for sheepskins was exceedingly keen, values for coarser sorts selling higher by Id per lb, while finer sorts, were firm to id higher. For hides the' rise in values" was most marked,.dx hides a P _ predating ljd per. lb and cow hides 2d to 2Jd per lb. Ox sold to 12Jd, and cow to" 11 5-Bd.
