During ,the concerts recordings were made by a local recording company of several of the numbers played by the orchestra, under Dr. Sargent's baton, and a recording was also made of a congratulatory address by Mr. D. A. Ewen, president of the orchestra, who tendered the reception to Dr. Sargent.
