NEW RECORDS AT AUCKLAND

AUCKLAND, This Day.
At a special test last night at Scott'St Hall, under the auspices of the Aucto* land Weightlifting. Association, L,' Hogan, list 41b, established a middle* weight world's' record for the pullovers at arm's length with a lift of 145Jlb^ compared with the previous record of 1401b. v ■
Australasian records were surpassed by H. Cleghorn, 14st 4|lb, in the heavyweight two-hand military press, two*; hand snatch and two-hand clean arid, jerk. With a lift of 303*1b in the las^ event he won the Australasian. Cup,, Thirteen New Zealand records wer# also beaten. ■ . • • .'■•-•
