RUGBY, August 5.
The London, Midland,; and- Scottish Railway, which pays, a water rate of £300,000 annually, expects to save thousands of gallons of water each day as a result of a device now being fitted to the scoops;of long-distance'express locomotives which take up water from troughs while travelling: at full speed.
