SUCCESSFUL CLUB EVENING
The pleasant sitting-room of the'Uni-y versity Women's Club was taxed to full capacity last evening, when the committee of the Victoria League Young People's Branch entertained members and friends at a progressive bridge party. The hostesses, Mesdames. L. A. Williams and A. D. McKinlay, and Misses Pat Gledhill and Valrnai Cramond. had made every arrangement for the comfort and enjoyment of their guests, and a very happy evening resulted. Prizes awarded for scqresnear-' est two hidden numbers'were won by Miss Irene Norris' and Mr. Ted Hammond. .Savoury refreshments were served. Among those present, were Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Williamsy Mr, and Mrs. A. D". McKinlay; Misses Barbara Gray Young, Margaret Munro, Mary Ross, Marjorie Murie, Joan Featherston, Marjoric Wingato. Marguerite Thompson, Pat Gledhill, Valmai Cramond,.Evelyn Robins, Nora'Sidford, Rosemary Wall, Kathleen Turnbull, Joan Porter, JSheila Moodie, Irene Norris, Moira Robertson.
