CRICKET STATUS
♦— ■ ■ DECISION TO STAND After having heard the representations made by a deputation from the Institute Old Boys' Cricket Club at last night's meeting, the management committee of the Wellington Cricket Association gave consideration to the points made on behalf of the Institute Club. It was decided to adhere to the committee's previous decision, which was that the Institute Club be relegated to second grade status to make room for the Karori Club in the senior grade.
Mr. I. Nimmo has been appointed the Karori Cricket Club's representative on the Wellington Cricket Association's management committee, and he took his seat at last night's meeting.
