COLONEL ARTHUR LYNCH

(Received: March 26,. 10 ;a.m.) LONDON/March 25. Ttie death has occurred of Colonel Arthur. Lynch, who suffered a relapse after a recent'operation. In his varied career lib was a physician, author, politician, and soldier.

Colonel Arthur Lynch was educates at B.allarat, Melbourne, University, Berlin University, the Hospital Beaujon in Paris, and St. Mary's Hospital, London. He also held a diploma in electrical engineering. He was on the Boor side in the South African War, and in June, 1918, was given the rank of colonel in the British Army. He was elected M.P. for Galway in 1901, and was: M.P. for West Clare from 1909 to 1918. : He published many books in English, French, and German, including works on psychology,-ethics, and philosophy; ..-■,.'■■ •■'-:.'•' ', '
