.... (Received March 26, 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day.' The death is announced of Mrs. W. MacLeod, an ex-New Zealandcr, nee Miss Conor O'Brien, journalist, formurly of Melbourne anil afterwards of the "Bulletin.". ; Mr. William MacLeod was born in London in 1850, and became an animal painter and illustrator on various Sydney, journals, which he left to become manager..of the "Bulletin." Later he became managing director of the paper. Miss Conor O'Brien was "Akenhi," of the "Bulletin," and the late Mr. MacLeod's second wife.
