POLITICAL AMBITION
ATTITUDE DEFENDED
(Received March 26, 11 a.m.) . LONDON, March 25. Mrs. Amy i Mollison,; replying to criticism of her intention to stand for the late Hon. Mary Piekford's seat at North: Hammersmith, says: "I am taking up the career in all seriousness. My qualifications include a University degree in economics and an interest in national and international problems, deepened by travel." Mrs. Mollison recalls that she was ridiculed when starting to fly to Australia, but that only spurred her on.
