OLD BOYS MATCH
The annual cricket" match between the old boys of St. Patrick's College and Wellington College was played at Silverstream on Saturday, an enjoyable match resulting in a tie. Each team scored 124 runs in its first innings, the most successful batsmen being: For St. Patrick's, A. P. Dwan 29, K. J. Miller 28. A. M. Ongley 24. J. O'Connor 75. and W. Ahem 10; for Wellington, C. Hester 31, O. Binnie 25, T. Brodie 20, E. Bcere 16, S. Childs 10. Bowling for Wellington, .M. F. Luekie took two for 38, C. Hester two for 5, S. Childs two for 13; for St. Patrick's, J. O'Connor six for 23, E. Miller one for 26. I After the match appreciation was expressed of the hospitality of the college, and the teams gave: cheers for Father I Dowling and his colleagues before leaving. The umpires were Messrs. P. G. Thomson and W. W. Cook. , .
