LEAGUE DEFEAT JUNIORS
Both the" matches between representatives of the Mercantile League and the Cricket Association's junior teams resulted in wins for the league. In the match between the A teams, the Cricket Association scored 204 runs in reply to their opponents' total of 392. Principal contributors were Wrigley 43, Ronaldson 37, Heard 16, and O'Connor 14, 31 runs coming from "'extras." Bowling for the League, O'Connor, took five wickets for 57 runs, and James four for 34. The scores in the match between the B teams were: —Mercantile League, 272 and 16 for one wicket; Cricket Association, 164 (Jeffrey 25, Gray 22, Devonport1 29, Ashenden 13, Clark 35) and 115 (Armstrong 12, Jeffrey 2G, Devonport 39). Bowling for the League, Brooks took two for 30 and two for 20, Morris three for 13, White two for 15, and Torrington four for 9. ' . f
