AUSTIN STREET MOTORCYCLE SPEEDWAY
(To the Editor.) Sir, —Hero- much longer do the residents of Pirie, Queen, Elizabeth, and Austin Streets have to suffer noisy infliction at the hands of cycle speedsters? Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday is their favourite time for • broadcasting their noisy, exhausts,, and their breakneck speed is a menace to all and sundry in the streets referred to. Is this complaint a.matter for the police or City Council to take up? Or both?—l am, etc., QUIET-WEEKEND.
