(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) MASTERTON* This Day. A'i case of interest to, the' medical and dental professions was heard.in the, Magistrate's Court yesterday, when a claim was made for £42 damages for injuries which the plaintiff, John M; Archer, allegedly suffered while under an anaesthetic for the--extraction ;of ■ teeth. It .was alleged that the plaintiff had his feet burnt by a hot water; bottle. .. '. ~- ' . t The defendants were Peter Basil Colvin, dentist, snd. J.:- C.. Forsyth, medical practitioner, the latter administering the anaesthetic only. ~;':.; Lengthy evidence was heard as to the responsibility of .the doctor arid "of the dentist for the patient's condition. Decision was reserved. •■ '
