Sev; eral streams were flooded. « ■' ■'■ A wash-but on: the Midland railway this side of Botomarm delayed the overland 'express with 180 'passengers for ■nearly .rive hours. The lino,, was left suspended for-a distance of a chain, tho passengers .walking on planking. Later,trains, tonight,' however, are running. . •. ■ . ~ .
