PUBLIC SERVICE SPORTS
This > year's Public Service sports tournament is to be held shortly on'the Basin Reserve, when it is' expected record entries will be received'from the members of Government Departments. Arrangements are well in hand for the programme, which • promises to surpass the excellent fare provided at last year's meeting. The tennis tournament will, take place at Miramar and the swimming: events at Thorndon Baths. ' •'
A strong committee for each section has been appointed, and it is expected that the programme will - contain plenty of variety and prove most attractive.
