THREE LITTLE PLAYS
NEW ZEALAND WRITERS
The growing interest of the dramaloving public in original Work was clearly evinced last evening in the large audience which filled the Repertory Hall, where Miss Hardingc-Maltby presented three one-act plays by New Zealand authors, two of whom are residents of Wellington. "Tho Green ■ Handkerchief," adapted from a story by Miss Catherine Keddell, was set in an Irish village, and was admirably played by Miss Keddell, Miss Girleen Griffiths, Mr. Norman Byrne, and Mr. W. J. MeEldowney. Among the audience were Mrs. V. Freeth, Mrs. Horton, Miss Eva Butts, Mr. and Mrs. Gray, Miss Jessie Forbes, Mrs. Sterling, Miss Janet Sterliiig, Mrs. [ Ina Allan, Miss C.
