The annual meeting of the Khandallah branch of the League of; Mothers was held in the Presbyterian Schoolroom,recently, Mrs. H. H. Cornish, presiding. :'■■ The following.officers were elected:— President, Mrs. H. H. CorniEh; vicepresidents,. Mrs. D. G. Clark and' Mrs; E. S. Mirams;.'-secretary, Mrs. T. B. Nelson; committee, , Mesdames Littlejohn, McNeil, Annand-Smith, Dellicar, Chapman, Miller, Sheargold, Heron, Phillipps, Ohlsson, Bennett, MeMorra.n, Innes-Murray, Lockie, \Y. Lcamy, Burton, and Hill. Professor W. Gould, M.A., of A7ictoria University .College-, gave a most instructive and. interesting address on "The Development of the Child." A musical item by' Mrs. Innes-Murray was much, appreciated. : . • . Tea was presided over by Mesdames Phillipps, Heron, and McNeil, and the creche by Joyce Ahearn and ( Roma McDonald.;
