COMING BRIDGE PARTY
HELP FOR LEWISHAM
To aid the Lewisham. Hospital in. its alleviation of the sufferings of humanity, an energetic committee is organising a bridge party, to take place at St. Patrick's. College, Cambridge Terrace, on Thursday evening. The work of the Lewisham Hospital since its foundation in Wellington seven .years ago-, is so well and favourably known .that the promoters of the 'bridge party,-feel confident that it will be well patronised. • - The funds are necessary to aid the Sisters-p4the Little.Company of Mary, known'as'-'tho Lowisham Sisters, to help eases which have been brought to light by the depression. All friends of the hospital,~-and-they~are many, are urged to support the bridge party next Thurs,day,.aiid:.thus; show/in' a practical, manner their- appreciation of the work of the sisters.
