FEILDING STOCK SALE

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) FEILDING, August 25. A heavy yarding of dairy cattle found the market easy at the weekly stock sale. Springing heifers were in over-supply and prices showed a somewhat downward tendency; beef cattle, on the other hand, showed a marked rise, prime bullocks being up £1 a head on last week. Fat sheep maintained their I'ecent satisfactory rates, but the demand for store sheep slackened. Prices were:—Fat hoggets, prime, 21s to 23s 6d; good, 13s 7d to 15s; fat wethers, extra prime, 22s 6d to 235; prime, 18s; good, 12s 6d to 17s; ewes, prime heavy, 22s Cd; maiden ewes, 21s 9d to 22s 6d; good ewes, 15s 6d to 19s 8d; lighter, from 12s 2d. Store sheep: Wether hoggets, 10s 9d to 14s; ewe hoggets, 12s 3d to 15s Id; m.s. hoggets, 9s 8d to 13s Cd; two-tooth ewes, 19s sd. Fat cattle: Light bullocks, £4 to £4 6s; medium weights, £5 10s to £6 7s; heavy, £6 10s to £7; prime heavy, £7. ;a to £8 14s; fat cows, light, 30s to £3; heavy, £3 10s to £4 ss; fat heifers, £2 5s to £5, according to, weight; vealers, £3 7s 6d. Store cattle: Wearier heifers, £1 4s to £-1 18s Cd; 15-month Jersey heifers, £2 11s; heifers, r.w.b., £1 10s to £2 3s; boner cows, 27s to 355; forward cows, £2 7s 6d. Dairy cattle: Springing heifers, £2 10s to £5 15s; heifers in milk, £4 7s Cd; springing cows, £3 15s to £4 10s. I
