INDUSTRIAL ACTIVITY
(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, August 23. Industrial activity in the United Kingdom in the second quarter of the present year, as estimated from particulars furnished from various sources to the Board of Trade, was 1.2 per cent, greater than in the first quarter of this year and 1.7 per cent.' greater than in the second quarter of last year.
