BOXING CHAMPIONSHIPS.
The entries for the senior boxing championships, which are to be held at the Winter Show Stadium next Monday and Tuesday, ensure a full programme of exciting events.extending over the two nights. The local association has spared no efforts in endeavouring to make these popular annual events of surpassing interest, and some interesting bouts are expected. The following will compete:—White. Sherlock, Larsen, Meaclem, Croft, Millar, McDonald, Howard, Allott, S. Donoghue, Smith, Langley, Anderson, McGurk, Cameron, Cubitt, Hedberg, McGee, Ford, Gard, Bateman, Hector, Eeid, H. Dunn, Wilson, W. Jones, Harris, Murray. Hale, Corbin, Cannis, W. Parris, Kent, Perrett, Knopp, Wood, Marshall, ,T. Kelly, Mansfield, J. Jones, Price, K. Kelly, T. Dunn, Messenger, Longhurst.
Lake View and Star announcement of a third interim dividend of 12% per cent, less tax for the year ended June 30 made the total distribution 37! i per cent. No dividend was jiaid for 1031-32.
