Under a new rule thij draw for the European Zone-of .the Davis Cup in 1934 has been made. It includes only those countries which failed to reach the. 1933 semi-finals. /The matches to the semi-final .round must be. played beforo September 3. Australia, Japan, Britain, and Czcchoslnvakia, as semifinalists in 1933 are already among the last eight for 1934.
