WELLINGTON CLUB
The annual meeting of the AYellington Harrier Club .was held on Monday night in the V.M.C.A. building. Tbe president, Mr. F. Wilton, presided over a small attendance.
From the financial viewpoint the position of the club was stated to be fairly satisfactory. Although the present balance was small, the club paid its way last season. Another year would do much towards building up a fairly useful balance, it was stated.
Although not" a great number of new members were present, it was stated at the meeting that the club had every reason to look forward to a highly successful season, and was confident of making its mark in the interelub racing during the latter half of the season.
The following officers were elected: — Life patron, Mr. W. H. Bennett; president, Mr. ■F. Wilton; life members, Messrs. W. H. Pollock, Stuart Robinson, W. H. Bennett; vice-presidents, Messrs. C. W. Palmer, A. S. Hilliker, H. A. Lamb, W. Power, W. Press, F. W. Vosseler, T. Farrington, C. Rowberry, F. Rowberry, A. Watson, A. E. Morrison, R. Morton, H. J. Pollock, E. Edwards, J. Blair, J. O'Brien, P. J. O'Connor, W. T. Whelan, H. C. Murrar; captain, Mr. S. Morris; vice-captain, Mr. H. S. McKinnon; hon. secretary, Mr. T. S. W. Mulcahy; hon. treasurer, Mr. H. K. Allan; delegate to Wellington Centre, Mr. J. McConchie; delegate to sub-committee, Mr. S. Morris; committee, Messrs.R.:Newson,M. Cooke, and C. Chalk; handicapper and selector, Mr. W. T. Whelan; representative on Harrier Trust Board, Mr. W. T. Whelan; hon. auditor,-Mr. H.: A. Lamb; publicity officer, Mr. H. S. McKinnon.
