CANTERBURY ASSOCIATION
IN FINANCIAL DIFFICULTIES
CHEISTCHUECH, March 28.
The fact that tho Canterbury Football Association is in financial difficulties was revealed at a meeting of the management committee tonight.
Tho committee discussed whether the association should go into voluntary liquidation and accept a proposal of tho. New Zealand Council that Association football in Canterbury be controlled by a sub-committe& of tho council, or should endeavour to make satisfactory arrangements with the creditors.
A special meeting of" creditors is to be called for Monday, April 3, and a special general' •meeting of the association, will meet a day or two later to discuss whether the association shall continue in control of football, having reached a satisfactory settlement with *he creditors, or go into liquidation.
