WASHINGTON, March 27.

President Boosevelt on Monday discussed the pending World Economic Conference with the French Ambassador, M. Claudel, who urged that' it be held as soon as possible.

The Anglo-American discussions on ■world economic problems were resumed on Monday at the State Department with a likelihood that war debts would occupy considerable attention.

Anj official communique, which followed the conference of Sir Ronald Lindsay and Mr. Cordcll Hull, Secretary of State, said that they had continued their' economic discussions and felt gratified with, the value of these talks. .
