With the exception of the third grade championship, which -was won by Karori the previous Saturday, the second and junior grades were completed on Saturday. ■ The following are the championship winners:—Second grade, ■Wellington College Junior A, Stop Out; Junior 81, Wellington College; Junior 82, University; Junior C, Brooklj-n; Junior D, Kaiwarra. Bowling for College, Steel took two wickets for 34 runs and five for 25, Quirk three for 31 and five tor 14, and Carter two for 15. For- Institute, Ahjnr secured four for 9, Brabin three for 30, Janes one for 3 and two for 11. Wellington College secured an eight-point win and won the second-grade championship. Kilbirnie, 307 (Virtue 53, Jones 4S, Campbell 41, Brown 40, Kershaw. 32, Harris 29, Ashenden 23 not out), beat University, 207 (Wilson BS, Cooper 70, Tripe 20, Jlacdonnid 20). For Ivilbirnie, Allen took four wickets for 94 runs, Ashenden three for 59. For University, Tripe took four for 84, Macdonald two for 45, Yietmeyer two for 53. Karori beat Midland by eight wickets. Karori, first innings, 190 and 120 for two wickets (McGavin G2 not out, King 3S). Midland, first innings, 244, and second innings, 62. Bowling for Ivarori, King took five for 35, and Keeuan four for 15. Junior A. Midland (South Wellington), 372, beat Hutt, 205 (Lougton 68, Saunders 61, Ward 27, Wall 13). Bowling for Midland, Gell took five wickets for 27, and Matthews three for 20. Midland won by 167 runs on the first innings, seeming a five-point win. Stop Out, 503 (T. Moore 127, J. Moore 100 not out, Maeklin 55, E. Liddicoat 49, Dunn 71, Bale 31, M. Liddicoat 19, Lee 12), beat Wellington, 27 and 10G (Standish 29, Shand 29, J. Kose 14 not out). Bowling for Stop Out, Sandholm took seven wickets for. 11 runs, T. Moore, two for 9, Cummins one for 12, Bale one for 11, Lee one for 6, R. Liddicoat one for 0, Maeklin one for 12, and W. Moore one for 0. For Wellington, J. Rose secured three wickets for 95runs, Ongley, three for 103, Marris two for BG. Junior Br. Wellington College, 243 (Nelson 40, Joplin 59, Maekay 39, Beard Gl). and 5S for two wickets (Waters 24, Dighton 24 not out), .beat Petone East, 212 (Green 62, Parrant 40, House 72), Bowling for Petone East, Parrant took two wickets for 73 runs, House two for 32, and Heazlewood four for 50. For College, Maekay secured six for 62 and Joplin three for 39. This victory gave Wellington College the championship. Kaiwarra, 415 and 120 (Muir 23, Willis 25), beat Technical College Old Boys, 124 (Gilbert 40, Tohill 31), and 155 (McCallum 70 not out;' Morris 23). Bowling for Kaiwarra, G. Kelly took four wickets for 23 runs and five for 34. Willis six for 50, and Bird two for 7. For the losers, MeCallura captured four wickets for 20 runs. Kaiwarra secured an e^ght-point win. Karori beat Kilbirnie by eight wickets Karori, first innings, 151 (Kells 55), and second innings, 126 (Nimmo 31). Kilbirnie, first innings, 195 (Williams 53, Coleinn 48), second innings, 71. Stop Out, 152 and 112, beat Hutt, 146 and 73. Batting for Stop Out, McShee made 42, Hitehen 25,' Mclvor 24 and 21 Scott 20. Batting for Hutt, Hobbs made 54. Bowling for Stop Out, Boyton took five for 36 and four for 17, Mclvor three for 18 and three for 24, Hitclien two for 15, and Kemp one for 2. Bowling for Hutt, Hunt took five for 35 and three for 21, Junior B2.—Railways, 331 (Bryant 73 not out, Dwan 51, Eton 51, Butler 44, Knapp 42, Gifford 24), and 10 for no wickets, defeated Onslow, 184 and 155 (Baker 22 not out and 35, Myers 22 and 29, P. Kelly 32, D. Kelly 22, Lindsay 21, Black 31). Bowling for Onslow, Myers took five for 91. Duthies, 148 (Keir 46, W. Dyer 40), and 228 (Handley 54, W. Dyer 33, Hiekling 39, L. Dyer 2G), beat Kaiwarra, 87 (Pamplin 19, Symonds 15), and 117 (Symonds 43, Winters 18). Bowlin S for Duthies, Kirwin, took three for 24 and six for 36, Hickling four for 26, and L. Dyer three for 22 and two for 21. For Kaiwarra, Milgate secured six for 32, A Robson two for 25, and four for 41, and Woolley two for 10. University, 17G and 49 (Campbell 24, Osborn 10), defeated Seatoun, 105 and 103 (Minifie 21, McPherson. 17, Taylor 17, Howard 15). Bowling for University, Struthers took five for 36, Nicole two for 23, and Godfrey one for 27. For Seatoun, Taylor secured' seven for 22, MeGirr two for 6, and Edmonds one for 19. University win the championship.
Junior C. —Institute Old Boys, ISS (Neal 56, Spolsky 53), beat Kilbirnie, 73 and 100 (Monkhouse 11 and 30, Wharton 14, Bryerton 19). Bowling for Institute, Fulton took four for 27, Jamieson three for 5 and four for '9, Sampson four for 14, Spoleky four, for 28.
Technical Old Boys beat Midland on the first innings. Technical Old Boys, first innings, 224 (Hutcheson 67, Boddy 52, Ward 39 not out). Bowling for Midland, Sullivan took six for 57. Midland, first innings, 174 (Davenport 73, Mclndoe 39). Bowling for Technical Old Boys, Palmer took three for 54, Redmond three for 13, and Hutcheson two for 8. Technical Old Boys, second innings, 251 (Bowkett 64, Hutcheson 61). Midland, second innings, seven wickets for 155 (Bock 71, Davenport 37).
Junior D. —Kaiwarra, 464 and 51 (Soames 18), beat Old Boys, 19 and 199 (A. McKenzie 62, Cowles 51 not out, A. Mark 37, Colley 15, Ewart 10). Bowling for Old Boys, A. Mark took five for 20 and Colley three for 25. For Kaiwarra, Billings captured six for 66. An eight-point win for Kaiwarra.
