KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR

' The ' little girl, whose parents live at 32 Kauri Street, Miramar, "was taken to the house of a nearby doctor after the accident, and the City Ambulance was called. Sho died, however, before reaching hospital. The deceased was accompanied by. a girl friend, and they were crossing the road after descending from a tram when the unfortunate accident occurred. An inquest will be held.
