SHEEP-STEALING ALLEGED

NEW PLYMOUTH,: This Day. The Supreme Court sessions opened this morning before' Mr. justice Ostler.

Andrew Charles William Krause, . a farmer, of Kotare, pleaded not guilty to five counts of stealing 73 sheep, valued at £36 10s. There were also in each case alternative chai-ges of receiving. The offences are alleged to have been committed between June, 1931, and November, 1932. It was stated by.Mhe Crown Prosecutor.that tho locality of the properties from which sheep were allegedly stolen was in a somewhat isolated district. The case is proceeding.
