BRONZE EAGLE RESUMES
Bronze Eagle, who haß been turned out on a property in the Matamata district, is back agajn in his old quarters at Takanini. He is stated to' have benefited considerably as the result of his lengthy spell, and all going well he is likely to resume work again at an early date. Bronze Eagle's three-year-old performances were brilliant, and if he were to reproduce the same form again he would win' plenty of money. He had only eight starts in all last season, and he won, four of them, including the two Derbies, His last race was when lie was beaten by Gay Crest in the.Clifford Plate on the final day of the-Auckland Summer Meeting just over twelve months ago. During his spell he has been niated with a few mares belonging to his owner, Dr. W C. Ring.
