INQUEST ON A WOMAN

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, 16th November. An adjourned inquest concerning the death of Miss Elizabeth Bott, aged 61, who received fatal in juries on the Great South Eoad on 22nd October, was concluded before Mr. Hunt, S.M., coroner. Tho deceas'&d was struck by two motor-cars in quick succession and died before; medical aid could be obtained. The first car did not stop, and has not been indentified. The coroner returned a verdict that the cause of tho deceased's death was shock following multiple injuries received when she was accidently knocked_ down and run over by a tnotor-car driven by John Newsomc. "The evidence shows," added Mr. Hunt, "that the deceased had just previously been struck by another ear, not yet identified, which was travelling at excessive speed."
