KARASICK BEATS ELLIOT

(By Telegraph.—Press Association)., WANGANUI, 16th November. Karasick defeated Elliot in a wrestling bout at Wanganui to-night by two falls'to one.

In the second round Karasick twisted Elliot several times with headlocks, winning a fall with a body press; Elliot retaliated in the fourth round by slamming- and weakening his opponent with flying butts. He secured' a fall by applying a body press. In the sixth round Elliot was in the act of lifting the Russian out of the ring when Karasiek got his foot on the top rope and upset Elliot's balance in a strong shqve and came back on the New Zealander hard, securing a" fall. The bout was punctuated with showmanship. Karasiek came to grips with the referee, who kept pointing dramatically at the police.
