THREE DIVIDENDS

AT MASTERTON RACES

The three-dividend, system nas been adopted by the Masterton i Bacing Club's stewards for Saturday's meeting. Three dividends will be paid out in races with nine or more starters, and two dividends, in races-with, from five ,to eight (inclusive) starters. This is the same method of computation as was applied at Otaki last week.

Selling units wall be 10s ana £5. There will be no five-shilling machine. Special.advice from Masterton states that the track has never looked better than it does at present. A good sole of _ grass has been left on it, and recent rain has taken the sting out of it. The weather prospects are good. The first race starts at 12.5 p.m., and the last at 5.5 p.m. .
