ENGLISH-BRED BAMBURY

Bambury, who won the Calliope Handicap at the Takapuna Meeting recently at ms initial start, is a promising juvenile member of A. Cook's team at Te Awamutu, and, although he failed on the second day of the meeting, it should not be long before he is improving his record. He was .sired in England to New Zealand time, and was foaled in the Dominion. .Legality, his dam, was mated with beberzo before being imported by the Auckland Stud Company in 1928. His present fee is 48 guineas. Legality, who was foaled in 1925, and is by Noblesse Oblige from Permissible, was recently put up for auction atvthe. Auckland Sfud's dispersal sale, .and she was purchased by Mr. R. T. Reid, of Hamilton, being now located at his property at Fail-field. Her latest foal is a colt by Whirlwind.
