ABOUT PRINCE POMBAL

Prince Pombal was again given light pace work on the plough at Trentham this morning, and it is unlikely that anything move will be done with him prior to his departure for Sydney next Friday week H IS owner, Mr. J. A. Taylor, has engaged the crack Sydney jockey, J. Munro. to ride him-in the A.J.C. Sires' Produce btakes and m the Champagne Stakes. When' he sails he will be accompanied by the Rosseudaic—Sarcenet colt who was purchased by Mr. Taylor at the Trentham sales, and who will be offered for resale at the Sydney Easter sales. It is also possible that another one or two horses will be taken.
